E Stuve in Houston visiting Macarena. I arrived on December 11. I traveled alone, and is the only time I've been traveling in an airplane that long, alone. I bought everything I could buy. Things were thrown away from cheap compared to Norway, in fact, I dare say that everything is much cheaper than in Chile. I bought $ 20 Converse sneakers, a jacket Calvin Klein for 45, a party dress for 5 (cinco! if five!) and other bargains that I caught. I took it all in an empty suitcase to me Macarena and her husband gave for Christmas, and God exists because I fit all ... And all I got many impressions of Houston:

I've never seen so many obese people in one place and do not impress me that they are after having proven their greasy and sugary foods. I was lucky that Macarena's house to eat a lot better than (I imagine) that is eaten in other American households. 4 .- Where are the Americans? When we went shopping with Macarena (or wherever we were in fact) could speak English with no problem. There were signs in English in some stores. 5 .- Where are the sidewalks? Houston is a city rare. Everything is designed for people to travel by car. I thought it was the height of laziness.
